White Diamond Counseling Consulting Coaching offers support and recognizes Mental Health Month in May.

Every day individuals across the nation are experiencing or have a loved one that is living with a Mental Illness. In May Health Providers and organizations join together to raise awareness about Mental Health.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness also knows as NAMI has established “You Are Not Alone” as the shared message for 2021’s Mental Health Awareness Month.

Did You know?

  • 1 in 5 U.S. adults experiences mental illness each year.

  • 1 in 20 U.S. adults experiences serious mental illness each year.

  • 1 in 6 U.S. youth aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year.

  • 50% of all lifetime mental illness begins by age 14, and 75% by age 24.

  • Suicide is the second leading cause of death among people aged 10-34.

As a collective, we can stand together and help raise awareness for anyone who is or has been impacted by mental illness by sharing resources. In addition to awareness, it is important to offer our support and help individuals gain access to the needed quality of care and encouragement to live healthy, fulfilling lives.

White Diamond Counseling understands that they play an important role in providing behavioral health care and helping clients access the needed resources in their community.
